Make sure blade is fully closed

Position the unit as shown directly in front of the wire, not touching the wire

Press and hold the red button

**There is no need to push the wire between the units gaps, simply hold in front of wire**

Press in the black button to release the blade and manoeuvre with your hand

Remove the 2 screws indicated while the blade is closed

Insert two CR2032 3V batteries (Battery symbols facing up as shown)
